The Evil Wizards started as a whim between two best friends, Jade and Isabelle, designing a silly little card game for our friends at our annual get together. We stayed up into the early hours just brainstorming crazy concepts while Jade drew up funny little doodles for each card. We really had a blast and took the cards we had printed on a home printer to the get together in the Shropshire hills. Our friends had a great time playing the game and over the course of the holiday we realised that we had a little gem on our hands and decided that it was worth putting in the effort to polish it. Over the next half year we would refine the game playtesting with countless people online and anyone who would be our guinea pig otherwise. Jades confidence in her art grew as she got back into the swing of things reigniting her passion for art and redeveloping her skills. We had a a great time through the development and still enjoy the process. We look forward to the future with hopes that we can bring something to the broader community that really resonates with people.
